Im ahead of myself today I am totally lost Jen was working today so we was up before the sun and off down the country lanes that we was worried might be flooded after the promised rain overnight but thankfully even though there were signs warning of floods we managed to get there with only a slight puddle or two on the roads. I got back and from then onwards I was in the mindset that it was a Monday I logged onto blog and it seemed quiet well quiet for a monday but thats because it was a sunday and most sane people were having a lie in rather than being up at crazy oclock. DOH! I even wondered throughout the day why we had no post all day hmmm maybe because it is SUNDAYYY!!! then when it was time to go and collect Jen I thought it was strange that I hadnt heard any of the school kids coming past the house after school then I had to remind myself again that it was only SUNDAAAAYYYYY! DOUBLE DOH!!
It has been a busy day all in all though because as I was typing that there was no one on blog Belle was as usual climbing over me and then under my chair and when she came out she had a dust bunny stuck to the side of her head so I thought hmmm Im gonna have to clean so I spent the majority of the day sweeping floors, brushing mats and carpets and wiping surfaces and cupboards down god how does the place get so dirty anyone would think I am living in a house full of stampeeding elephants instead of a house full of stampeeding women and a doddering old fat man :)) by 2 in the afternoon the cleaning was complete well as complete as it was going to be with a two year old enjoying watching the steam coming out of her daddys head as she messes up everything he has just tidied. so next on my list was to finish off wrapping all my xmas pressies and I have done it yaaaay all of Jens all of belles and all of my aunts and dads done and with the tags I got from the market I am relieved to have it all done hmm well ok then I do have one present left to wrap but that will be for my mate Liz who has a competition with me every year to wrap our presents to one another in the most imaginative way I have done a fairy castle, a santa claus, a festive throne and I have a specail design for this year which I may show you when it is complete in return I have had a reindeer, a christmas book and a arctic scene from Liz its only a bit of fun but you will be surprised at all the design and time it takes.
I dont know why but I have had the jingle from an eighties advert rolling around in my head ever since I started wrapping my pressies this afternoon too I dont know if anyone remembers it out there in blog world but it is the one for superfresco wallpaper I know I know what the heck has that got to do with wrapping presents I dont know at all it is just lodged in my head I am gonna post it if I can find it on line later :))
Anyhow I am off to make myself some lovely crumpets and a cup of tea and try and get my brain to come to terms that it is only sunday and not the monday that it has convinced itself that today is.
