well slap a salami and smother a snake with satsumas if it hasnt been a heck of a day we overslept this morning and have been chasing our tails ever since we wanted to go car booting but the weather was horrible ; the rain rattling at the windows, the wind blowing people inside out it was hellish! Eventaully we decided to get up and go anyway otherwise we would have been in danger of spending the day in bed hiding from the storm that was raging outside. so we all got up and dived in the car pulled off the drive and thats where the fun part of the drive ended it was a nightmare every single road we went down either was closed or had workmen digging up various parts of it or rather one workman was digging up various bits of it while other people stood round drinking tea and smiling as we managed to drive past them GRRRRRR we wasnt sure where we were going so we was relying a little on the satnav but it kept leading us to dead ends and asking me to turn down roads that no longer exist or at one point it asked me to turn left and I ended up on someones driveway?!! I am starting to think that the cosmos has a plan to keep me in the house first the DVLA gets me to retake my test and now I cant get out of the town without coming across a roadblock of one type or another, eventually after travelling around the majority of warwickshire we managed to get to the car boot/flea market. It seemed like such a let down too normally it is a fantastic car boot but with all the riding around in the car it didnt put us in the right mood to find any bargains we ended up grabbing a burger for breakfast/dinner and then headed back home stopping off to grab some goodies from the local market.
I swear that as soon as we got through the door of the house the rain stopped the wind died down and the sun started shining! aaaaargh! oh well we had a pretty productive day from thereon in we tidied and then I wrote out a list of what we have in the freezer before sorting out our printer we have had one for over a month but havent connected it to the wireless system yet I managed to dig it out of the spare room that seems to have turned into a dumping ground for everything that doesnt fit into any other specific room in the house :( I am gonna peek through the instructions and have a go at hooking it up tomorrow while Jen is at work. Not a minute too soon either I have to get it up and working so I can start printing off some of my CV's in an attempt to get a job working from home I have to try and get something as next year belle will be going to nursery from around aprilish half a day all week long so I will be redundant :(
The rest of the day has been pretty quiet apart from the usual bath night fun of mopping up the water Belle has splashed all over the floor while she was having her bathtime play. We have finished off whats left of the Halloween candy, so all we have to do now is find out where belle has hidden her stash
Im off to kip now as we have to get up at silly oclock in the morning to get jen to work for 8 hope you all have a wonderful night and an enjoyable Monday and I will see you all tomoz
