Yes indeed today was another scorcher it was wayyy too hot to do anything really we did get up fairly early and after opening my lovely cards from Jen and Belle who's writing bears an increible resembalance to her moms hehe they were lovely cards though from my wonderful little family. We thought we would treat little belle before it got to hot so we got her dressed and took her over to the playground she had great fun running all around the place and sliding down the slides the first few were excellent but then she chose one that seemed to have alot of dew all over it so she ended up with a wet bottom :) but she had a great time on the swings for a while before jumping into the sandpit which she loved so much so she sat down in is and just started making sand angels so much for her lovely outfit that she had on first it was wet then it was caked in sand hehe. After a few more laps around the playground the temperature started to rise and we decided to head back home for a bit of a cool down we also had a reason to set up the electric fan that had been in its box since we brought it after the last heatwave. It was very handy and at least got the cool air circulating around the place a bit.
Jen nipped out to the post office to buy some simpsons stamps that are on sale at the moment and brought us a box of donuts back that made a different breakfast for us all hehe. she also brought a mcdonalds meal too for lunch as none of us wanted to cook anything it was just too hot with it tipping the scales to over 30 degrees celcius its a little sticky to say the least another reason we cant wait to get back to the UK.
Oh and there was a phone call from my Dad again wishing me a happy birthday enquiring into what I was doing for a job, weather belle was talking yet, if she had any more teeth yet and telling me I should be worried that she doesnt etc etc etc but when I asked him what his other son was doing for a job he got very defensive etc and pretty much called an end to the phone call honestly I am sooo sick of this I wish he didnt ring he was on the phone for all of 10 minutes. In a way I am dreading going back to the UK as I know I am gonna have it all thrown in my face about coming to the states in the first place etc etc and having my brother laughing at me too I swear I just want to cut them out of my life. BLERGH but enough about them today is supposed to be a happy day.
So all in all a quietish day but it was just too hot to do anything so we have agreed we will treat ourselves when we get back to the UK after all we surely deserve a little treat after our good deeds lately :)
