Well It is still hard to believe but Our little girl is two years old today holy moly she will be dating before I know it, mind you I think I may be a little over protective about my little girl I keep saying to Jen that Belle can do whatever she wants when she is 35! maybe I am ust hoping hehe.
Its just that she is the sweetest little girl so trusting and friendly and it would kill me to see any hurt in those eyes :( god listen to me like I am a big body builder or something hahaha Anyhow I am diverting from my original entry which is little belles 2nd birthday it all started this morning about 7 to 7.30 when she woke up and wanted some juice I gave her some juice and popped all her presssies up in the lounge dropped the balloons by the side and then I let her free into the room she went running in as she usually does before noticing the balloons and the banners and her little eyes nearly popped out her head. Jen and I then tried to get her to unwrap the pressies that we had lovingly wrapped but noooo she was much more interested in running backwards and forwards with the balloons that cost just a dollar each as apposed to the hundreds of dollars we spent on her pressies DOH!! I said to Jen next year we will just buy a bucketload of balloons and a canister of helium :))
The presents were eventually opened and she played all morning long sporadically remembering that her parents were still in the room before having some lunch and crashing out for an afternoon nap :) then tonight Jens sister and her boyfriend popped over and gave belle some more gifts and a card and sang happy birthday too her as we cut the cake.... hmm between me and you I think they only came for the cake :)) then she played around for a little longer before unhappily being torn away from the toys and most of her balloons(we gave her some tied to her bed) and now she is fast asleep with a big smile on her face. I sooo hope she had a wonderful birthday she deserves the best :)
It has been a long and hectic day though and I am just as tired as her I never even had a nap ;)
