Gooooood morning to you on this dark and somewhat dismal friday but hey what more do we seriously expect it is a bank holiday weekend after all isnt it so hows life with you all out there in blog land?
OK OK I hear you are all interested in what Richy has been upto since he has been a regular bloger in cyberspace . well as you know I was made redundant back in July now to you and I that would mean I would get a huge pay off and I would never have to have anything to do with my previous workplace any more wouldnt it??? ohhhhh no not with my cruddy old work place! apparently they had lost all the paperwork for my redundancy so that had to be refiled and relisted etc as well as being chased up by yours truely! so as usual the stupid idiots i used to work for messed up royal style and the redundancy money only came through at the start of this week! in the meantime I have had to watch my pennies very carefully as I have only had one months wages to last me 2 and a half months! bloody typical but at last they have paid me and I have gladly severed all ties with the crud heap I used to call my workplace! and it feels sooooo good to wave it goodbye
In other news and this is probablyh the real news that I wanted to admit to and that is that during my long wait for my redundancy money Jen and I have been talking and we are going back to Jens homeland of the good old US of A! we have been thinking about it for a while and just lately the idea has looked more and more tempting. With all this hassle and red tape over my redundancy It has made me all the more tempted and we have decided to go for it so my credit card has been taking a pounding as we have been going through the stages of solicitors and emabassys etc and I am happy to say that next month I should be going to the embassy to get my visa to head off to the states! Jen is ok and didnt need anything but belle had alot of forms and stuff and we had to go to the embassy on monday to get her sorted and then wednesday I had to go to london to get a medical ( I still say it was to be violated! ) so that I can get my last forms together. I think we are all nearly ready now. I still dont think I will believe it until I am on the plane and heading off to pastures new but it is all very exciting stuff.
So there you go fellow bloggers and blogeees my secret is out cast into the deep dark cyber abyss that is blogland so now you know why I havent been on too much. never fear though I will be able to blog from the states and it will be a few months yet before I finally give up the ghose and head over there in the meantime you will still be hounded and dogged by myself
