Well fondle my feathery frillys and call me frank if it isn’t a flipping fabulous Friday forthcoming with fun yes indeed ladies and gents today is that most special and hallowed of all weekdays in that it is a Friday that most wonderous of days which again marks the end of another week and brings me another 5 working days nearer to escape wooooooo hooooo even more important is that it gives me 2 days away from work too yaaaay aren’t weekends great??
Well as you may have imagined by reading the last little pristine paragraph of plot I am happier than a new millionaire who has just found the winning lottery ticket. And why not is what I say! The sun is shining, the birds are singing spring has sprung seemingly over night and here we are on the last working day of the week. Thank gawd for that I mean I know it has been a short week for me what with my toilet exploits and all but I think it has taken more out of me than usual so I am looking forward to a restful weekend this time mind you I have a little bit of shopping to do this weekend and maybe the off chance of a little cleaning too hehehehe yeah like there will ever be a weekend away from that. The ironing is starting to topple over in its piles so I guess that will be done too but I am determined to get some rest too.
In other news I am nearly back on track with all my work after being off for a few days its amazing how much everything is just left for my return especially as my boss said that would never happen however those regular readers of my blog know all too well how much my boss can be trusted to know what the hell is going on half the time.
Who can believe that it is May next week? I know I cant it just seems to have zipped by this year already mind you I know it cant go by fast enough for me to be honest, especially while I am here hehe. But it had me thinking the other day that when you are a kid days used to last forever and your parents would always say make the most of it because it will fly by but we never believed them but now I am a parent myself I find it is sooo true, it feels like every time I blink I lose a month… well ok I may be exaggerating a little but you know what I mean.
Anyhow I best go and start the slacking working day then hope you have a great day and an even better weekend
