Huh Monday morning? nooooo surely not, it cant be, not yet those were the feelings I had when I knew I had to drag myself unwillingly out of bed this morning it just seemed like a non weekend it flew by without my knowledge surely it cant have gone already a whole two days! but alas it had and the full 5 days of the week seem to stretch out ahead of me like a never ending highway, with not so much as a service station to pull in and have a rest at. ho hum! Its been a busy old weekend though shopping and cleaning with the side dish of washing and ironing too but its all done now and sitting back last night watching the TV I actually allowed myself a little smile at the fact that the place is tidy and ready for another week of abuse and general messyness but for that brief moment I looked around and it was clean and tidy.
Amazing considering that Belle wasnt well on friday and rounded the day off by throwing up all over me and the bed XX( not the nicest of ways to start the weekend I guess but I couldnt blame her really although now I knew what steve martin meant when he was in the film parenthood just after his daughter threw up on him and his wife says what are you waiting for and he says Im just waiting for her head to start spinning :)) awww I know I shouldnt laugh but it really was like something out of the exorcist poor little belle went off like a sprinkler. I think its my fault as I was helping her do gambols which isnt a bad thing normally but she had just finished her dinner. not a good idea! Hmm that was a little too much info wasnt it I hope you arent eating your lunch whilst reading this :)
Other less stomach churning news is that I realise that today we are almost half way through this month too, holy moly, pig up a poley where has this year gone already 3 and a half months just seems to have dissolved into nothingness. its getting so I am scared to blink incase I miss a month or two :) still its good in a way as it will bring July round sooner and we all know what that means dont we...... Nooooo not mrs bobbins open garden show Im talking about my redundancy :) as if you didnt know. :))
as I bring my blog today to an end I just wanted to add one last little thought who on earth designed a marathon and who the hell feels the need to do one? who actually wakes up one day and says I think I will go off on a 26 mile run?? are they insane? i dont think I can run for 26 seconds let along 26 miles! and on a sunday too the most energetic I am is reaching for the remote :))
anyhow Im off to have a spot of lunch and press a key or two workwise. have a fun monday :wave:
